Communication Infrastructure Managed Service

As a B2B wholesale network-sharing Managed Service Provider, we provide Radio Access Network (RAN) coverage, Switching, Backhaul, Routing, Core and Internet PoP interconnect.

Our managed service meets the coverage and capacity needs of each participating Telecom Operator and ISP customer.

Our customers retain control over their own portion of the network and retain responsibility for all key business and support systems/areas, such as customer relationship management, end-user applications, service-packages and billing.

Transparency of performance and processes ensures that all sensitive commercial data is at all times kept secure, and under the control of each separate customer.

Our managed service is governed by Service Level Agreements (SLA) and is measurable by key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provision of our managed service allows our customers to concentrate on maximising their customer revenues and profitability – whilst enjoying reduced total cost.

Service contracts are for 5,10, 15 or 20 year terms.

We take into account the reality that each Cellular Mobile and Mobile Broadband Internet Connectivity network scenario is unique. That each scenario is driven by commercial requirements, geographical conditions, spectra rights; and also government and regulatory drivers and agenda of.

Each of our Network Coverage Areas services 125,000 Km2. Each providing the service coverage equivalent to that of 6,364 3G or 4G fixed sites. The total throughput capacity and total service cost is shared, among up to four Telecom Operator and or ISP customers.

Our service is flexible. Each of our Telecom Operator and ISP customers are able to achieve differentiation, through specific coverage and capacity appointment; in support of their business goals.

We provide the managed service with our own operational personnel, vendor partners and subcontractors. All of whom have comprehensive managed-service capabilities, across multiple platforms; and are experienced in dealing with all aspects of outsourcing service provision.

Configuration, supply and integration of all onboard and ground-based equipment and systems, are carried out to suit the particular technologies chosen by each separate customer - 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi. In accordance with their particular company policies and operating procedures.

All our equipment, interfaces, and protocols are fully compliant with the relevant industry standards.

Installation of our Haps Network ‘Ground Transmission Gateways’ (GTGs) is carried out at specific geographic locations, that are agreed with the customer. Usually at their existing MSC and Internet PoP sites.

Within our dedicated NOCs, we take lead responsibility for network monitoring, active surveillance and control of the shared-networks.

QucomHaps field support engineers, take responsibility for corrective and preventive field maintenance – and they are based where HAPS Platforms, GTGs and Internet PoPs are located.

We operate both the passive and the active elements of our HAPS networks efficiently and effectively, 24/7. Including optimisation of systems and services, to ensure that performance is maintained at or above agreed quality levels.

Wireless Backhaul Managed Service

Our backhaul service offer high-capacity transport capability and flexibility, in support of both new and existing network infrastructure.

We appreciate that not all traffic can be treated in the same way, over a backhaul network – and that a comprehensive backhaul strategy, one that addresses all aspects of traffic, is needed.

Our service enables customers to enhance delivery of their service provisioning - whilst minimising backhaul cost (both capex and opex).

The service allows customers to extends network coverage, to remote areas at reduced cost. And to ‘future-proof’ their evolving 3G, 4G and other wireless networks.

We acknowledge that with increasing subscriber numbers, and smart-phone usage, voice and data networks are increasingly coming under strain – and they are not always able to efficiently manage traffic, and fully monetise all opportunities.

For example, legacy Diameter deployments often lack the scalability, flexibility, and cost effectiveness to enable operators to monetise all traffic. To convert traffic into revenues, service providers need new Diameter networks, that are optimised for the All-IP world.

We direct data traffic to the ‘gateways’ (GGSN gateways for 3G networks and Packet gateways for LTE 4G networks) of our customers - so that this data can then be efficiently handled within Packet Cores.
